CIS Training

CIS Software Training

We provide targeted training online using Zoom. Training is divided into four categories:

  1. Novice CIS User – A CIS user who works with between 1 and 6 apps within CIS. Novice CIS User Training is usually 3 x 1.5 hour online Zoom training sessions for each group of Novice CIS Users and is customized to their specific Apps used in CIS. You can form your own groups of Apps for this training, but below are some examples:
    • Quality including Nonconformity, Customer Feedback, Corrective Action, Inspection, Lessons Learned, and Documentation, or
    • HR including HR set-up and Training, or
    • Quality Management including Auditing, Action Items, Corrective Action, Calibration, Maintenance, and Documentation.
  2. Advanced CIS User – A CIS user who is training on the use of ALL of the CIS Apps. These users may also be in-house trainers for other users who need only work with a couple of CIS Apps. The Advanced CIS User Training is 6 x 1.5-hour Zoom training sessions.
  3. CIS Tweaker – The Tweaker will learn how to implement CIS when starting for the first time, and how to make minor changes to customize many settings within CIS to better serve their organization. This training is 4 x 2-hour Zoom Training sessions. The CIS Tweaker will learn how to:
    • Create and revise user types,
    • Modify User’s permissions and access,
    • Add and suspend users,
    • Import data, users, customers, and more,
    • Do the initial set-up of all administration criteria in CIS in order for CIS to work. This will include understanding and set-up of all the criteria, preferences, company news, back-up, personalized home page and company FAQs.
    • Change Field Captions (names of fields displayed),
    • Hide Fields that are not required,
    • Customize the grid and column displays,
    • Adjust or add new filters.
  4. CIS Mastermind Training – The CIS Mastermind is required to first become an Advanced CIS User and a CIS Tweaker. The Mastermind will will learn how to revise existing databases and create new databases that can integrate into CIS, including customizing e-mails, printed forms, input forms, edit forms and the ability to create Portals into CIS. The CIS Mastermind will be able to modify and create new apps in CIS to enhance the user experience within your organization. This training is 6 x 2-hour Zoom Training sessions. The CIS Mastermind will learn how to:
    • Create and revise existing fields and databases,
    • Create new databases, input and edit forms and integrate them within their CIS system,
    • Revise the menu system,
    • Create user-friendly portals into CIS such as Customer Questionnaires, Simple Inspection Results Portal Forms, Employee Application Portal into their HR System, and any other portal that may help with data entry.
